how to use your arms and legs for strength and support instead of gripping
spine and back muscles. Once you free up your spine, walking, gardening –
all those great spring activities – become easier and more enjoyable. Prepare
yourself for more active days ahead!
The cost for the series is $70. If you prefer to drop in, the cost is $17 per
class. You may also purchase a four-class card for $60. If you purchase a
series or card, you may also apply any unused classes to a future series within
the following month. Classes start Monday, April 1st – no foolin’ – and run
five weeks. Class times are Mondays, 1:30-3 p.m.; Tuesdays, 5:30-7 p.m.;
and, Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m. Please pre-register if you can.
Put these springy steps together in a half-day workshop, “Walk This
Way,” on Saturday, April 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. Spend an afternoon learning
how to identify the muscles and movement involved in walking and discover
what a joy it is to move your hips with a Svaroopa® swish! The cost is $45,
and pre-registration is required by calling or emailing Carolyn.
New to Svaroopa® Yoga? Try the beginning class from 3:30-5 p.m. on
Sundays, beginning April 14th. This will be an ongoing class. You may either

A “Learn to Meditate” course will be offered Mondays from 6 to 8 p.m.
on April 8, 15 and 22. In three two-hour classes you’ll learn how to sit easily,
on the floor or in a chair, and move from beginning stages to becoming an
experienced meditator. You’ll learn what you’re doing and why, and how to
handle any obstacles, so that meditation becomes the best part of your day.
The investment is $75. The investment in your Self is priceless. If you are
retaking the class, there is a discount of $15, and the cost is $60.
