I love reading Westerns and recently discovered a new author: Todhunter Ballard.
He's one of the old timers and no longer around and I feel so sad that many others like him who are gone have written the best Westerns I've read. Really, most new authors writing Westerns just can't do it. They're too far away from the time period they are writing about; they can't replicate what the early writers experienced first hand. Ah, so too bad.
Anyway, Ballard has written many novels and it looks like many are still being published, which is fantastic.
