It's Not the End of the World -- 2020 Coronavirus -- A Spiritual Perspective

I want to offer a spiritual perspective on what is happening in the world with the virus epidemic. Keep in mind this is my perspective only; it does not have to be yours and you do not have to embrace it. My recommendation to people is always: Think for yourself! Accept only what feels right to you and forget about the rest. So, take that view in reading this.

Before I start, I want to say that by offering a larger perspective, I do not want to diminish the pain and suffering many people are experiencing. That is real. I pray every day for God to offer comfort and help to all beings.

And there is loss. You may have experienced the loss of a loved one. I know that pain is unbearable. And I want to say that no one leaves this plane of existence accidentally. They leave because at the soul level, they have decided to leave. They have moved on to other experiences. However, they will always be a part of you and you will always be a part of them. You will most likely see them, again, when you leave this plane of existence, if you're not already experiencing their presence.

The Pandemic - A Spiritual Perspective

At its core this pandemic is a gigantic earth cleansing -- on every level. It is a preparation for a gigantic earth renewal -- on every level. It is an extraordinary opportunity to evolve to higher consciousness.

It can be likened to the wind blowing in the fall and knocking off all the dead leaves and dead branches from trees so the new ones can grow in the spring.

In cleansings, everything that no longer serves is brought to the surface to be seen, understood and transformed.

On a personal level, if you've neglected any area of your life, if you've not faced something you needed to address, it's at the surface now to be addressed and handled.

The constructive approach is to embrace the challenges and do what's necessary to move your life in positive directions.

Resisting is not helpful. Being vigilant on what comes up for you and immediately moving to solutions, is the easiest and fastest way to move through this situation.

It's an opportunity to reflect on our lives, to consider what's important and what it is not, to be clear on the values we hold. Most of all, it's an opportunity to strengthen spiritually, to open dimensions of spiritual awareness, grow strong in spiritual abilities and become a light in the world.

The most important underlying element in this situation is your willingness to change.

We all tend to want to hold on to the known. The unknown scares us. Our known world offers security and predictability. The unknown unpredictability, disorientation, discomfort; however, it also offers gigantic, gigantic opportunity -- if we can only allow ourselves to hang in there with uncertainty for a while.  Only a while. After that, a new world, a new reality will begin to formulate itself. We will come into a new self, a more conscious, powerful self, a self more attuned to soul truth and divine light -- and a happier, more fulfilling earthly life.

On a larger scale, as I think is pretty obvious to everybody, there are very old energies in the earth system, the political system -- dragging us down -- making it difficult to move forward into more light. All those are being currently exposed in the most obvious way. They show us what's not working, what needs to change. The opportunity is there for those old energies to end and, thereby, create room for the birth of new energies, the birth of new light on the planet, a better, healthier, more-prosperous plant.

If you can, look at the current situation as an opportunity for yourself and the planet. Take on whatever challenges you are facing. Say, yes, to them. There are always solutions. Look for the solutions. Look at the challenges as a way to make your life better. They really are portholes to new realities of more light and consciousness. Most of all, more peace.

If you can take that stance, the stance of a spiritual warrior, you can use this time to transform your life for the better. Take whatever is bugging you, niggling you, being a thorn in your side, take your fear, your panic -- look at it, feel it, examine it, and ask yourself: What do I WANT here? What do I need here? Then start to plan how you can create it. Then take action.

Remember, you have the power. Get quiet. Sense your divine self. Feel the strength there. And move in constructive ways.
