O Beloved, whom will You invite
into the abode of your Heart?
Who will dwell with You in Love?
One who walks with integrity, who
is in harmony with your Word,
and sings the heart's song;
Whose tongue speaks truth
judging not others and seeking only the good;
whose eyes behold not the outer
garments of the body,
but see within the inner robe
Whose own weaknesses are acknowledged
and brought to light in prayer;
Who is just in all affairs of life
and takes not advantage of
One who does all these things,
will join the Dance of Life!
will sing the Song of Joy!
I love Lily Tomlin. She does Ernestine to perfection.
As most people know, we're living at a pivotal time in history. Are we going to embrace our oneness and step forward into decisions with that awareness, or are we going to persist in our small fearful ways of personal interest and personal gain?
This will decide the outcome as to where humanity will end up.
Civilizations, even in our recorded history, have failed because of this fear and greed. Will we continue to make the same mistakes, perpetually destroy everything we've gained as a civilization because we cannot give up our small fearful ways, or are we going to act in strength and victory and move forward in time ever-expanding our potential and our fulfillment as a species, as divine humans?
The decision is a personal one. If every individual decides to act with integrity, keeping in mind that we are all citizens of this one planet, we will make it.
If we hold on to "fistfuls of dust" believing it to be our strength, our personal material gain and power the superior stance, we will self-destruct--as other civilizations in recorded history and unrecorded history have done.
From the spiritual perspective you could say it's not a big deal. The soul survives. But would you really want to be the one that, as a human personality, engaged in acts to destroy the world? As a soul, you'd have to repeat this lesson until you learn it. Or would you be the one who has triumphed, rose above personal fears, personal vendettas, personal greed, and been the one that has been the leader, the one who has firmly held to eternal values, who has led this civilization into unprecedented success?
Lots of times we face a challenging situation and we try to figure it out, to know what to do, and things don't work out. Don't give up! Try again!
We can't access all information and all resources all at once. Sometimes we have to come to a situation again and again and each time more information is available, we see a little more clearly, and with repeated efforts we finally understand the issue and we know what to do.
So, don't just try once and give up, keep coming to it with determination to understand and the issue will unfold and you will have clarity and you will know exactly what to do.
This is such an amazing performance. When I watch Benise play and hear him, I see Truth pouring out of him. What a healer. This morning it came to me . . . seeing him is holy communion. What a way to bring forth the experience of Oneness.
