I Calm Down: A Guided Meditation, Zorica Gojkovic, Ph.D.

One day I was totally revved up, excited to be creating and had to slow down. Going too fast, even if it's because of excitement, the body interprets as stress; it's an energy drain. So, I had to slow down.  The words in this guided meditation came to me. As they did, I progressively slowed down myself.

I wrote them out and it became this meditation. Even in audio editing, I find it magical. Somehow the words are just right to slow down and feel a kind of delicious peace.

These gentle affirmations will quickly bring you to blissful calm and delicious peace.

When I was younger, without a doubt, the hardest thing in life was finding a way to organize myself, organize my life. Now, I know not everyone has that challenge, but it was a major obstacle in my life. It prevented me from smoothly moving forward in all areas of life -- the physical world and practical things that needed to be done, and the emotional and spiritual world where there was constant healing and transformation.

It may be hard to believe, but creating My Manifesting Planner -- in using it just couple months at this point -- has transformed my life. I created these set of affirmations to remind us all of who we really are. We are an aspect of All That Is. We are powerful creators. We can use our soul power to maintain vibrant health and vitality, move through life's challenge, create our heart's desires, create a beautiful life for ourselves. We can use our dreams to connect with the wisdom of the universe and learn, receive guidance and comfort.

When I create guided meditations, I listen to them many, many times and at the very end, when the meditation is almost done, I listen to it as I normally would any guided meditation.

Listening to Affirmations for Optimal Well-Being, I was frustrated. For me it takes a lot of discipline and determination to have patience, to wait on soul guidance. I have a hard time remembering to ask for help from my divine self and struggle alone until I finally remember.

It's also hard keeping in mind that our life is as it should be, that we are doing what we are supposed to be doing, learning what we are supposed to learn and not to worry so much.

If we only could sit back a little and allow divine guidance to bring what we need to us instead of pushing and forcing and trying -- life would be so much easier and definitely more pleasurable.

Anyway, lots to learn. Definitely listening to Affirmations for Optimal Well-Being often is a good idea as a way to begin to embody the truth of our being, our power and relax more about who we are and what we are doing here on Earth.
