Are you in a funk, depressed, feeling awful? You're waiting for something to happen? You're waiting for someone to come save the day, save you? You wish things weren't as they are? You wish things were different? You feel disconnected from life, from people, with no sense of meaning and purpose? And you're waiting for it all to change, or some outside force to come in and change it for you.
The sad thing is the special forces are not coming. Yes, I know, horrifying, disturbing, upsetting. From giving psychic readings I know that when you're in a low state of energy, lower consciousness, that is a condition when you're not connected to Source. Oh, the Source is there, it's your own state of consciousness that makes it hard to perceive It. You have to change first before help is available. You have to, somehow, become receptive, somehow change your mind, change your consciousness enough, and make yourself available to the special forces. Then they come in and help. It's a strange thing. With free will, the way our earth system is designed, we are the ones responsible for choosing a direction; it's the way we grow. Once we choose a direction, the help and support come in. The fastest way out of a funk, is to intend a constructive direction. Choose a path. Set an intention for constructive unfoldment. Then start walking that path by taking action, any action, no matter how small. Help will then become available. If you've not experienced guided meditations, you need to give it a try. It's a wonderful way to calm down and either set intentions or do some healing work.

One day I went to visit a friend after not seeing her for a while. She looked different, younger. He skin had smoothed out and it had color. She's an older woman. Usually her wrinkles are very apparent and her skin looks ashen. I know, not too pleasant. The difference was hugely noticeable. Well, she's started juicing. Every morning she'd have a brew of spinach, carrots, fruit, etc. I was amazed at the difference, and also that she actually looked younger. I didn't think that was possible. I know I sound like a commercial, but this really happened. It was "living" proof of the difference eating veggies makes. Not to mention the emotional impact eating healthfully makes, as i wrote in an earlier blog. I don't know a whole lot about Zen meditation, but what I do know is that you breathe and let your thoughts run through you. You notice, let go, breathe.
It's a wonderful way to get distance from a busy mind. I recommend the Zen meditation to my psychic reading clients as a way to separate from their worry thoughts when they are going through a hard time. Of course, I do the same myself, just breathe when a bunch of thoughts--for me usually way too many ideas of things I'd love to create--come up. However, most recently something interesting has happened. Simply, it struck me as a real thing how useless most of my thoughts are. I kind of feel bad saying that. The reason is from another perspective, the therapy perspective, we do want to notice those thoughts and use them, constructively, one would hope. So I am talking about a slightly different context for my thoughts. I have experienced a deeper layer of being. You might call it soul level, God level. At this level everything is productive and constructive. Having experienced this level of being, and from this perspective, the casual thoughts that go nowhere really do appear as just static. So, most recently I've learned to let them arise and disappear without investigating their meaning. In this context, and these types of thoughts, there isn't much to investigate, really. An investigation would just confuse things, take me away from the deeper truth. And it would lead nowhere. The result of this change is that I feel hugely unburdened; I don't have to carry all that weight of my thoughts. I can let them go. Phew!
I discovered a scary thing giving psychic readings. We can easily make a symptom the problem. And finding solutions to a problem depends entirely on identifying the problem accurately.
This is a serious issue! The way this plays out in readings is that you are uncomfortable with something that is going on, and you spend a bunch of time trying to fix it. When that doesn't work, you try dealing with another thing that doesn't work, another symptom. Basically, you get nowhere. This is the case with many issues, but the one that's really scary to me is eating. If a person isn't eating well, getting the nutrients she needs, it will effect how she feels. How she feels determines her perception. Their perception determines the decisions she makes. A person not feeling well is not going to make optimum decisions. At that point there will be problems from those decisions. Or worse yet, not feeling well becomes the problem. And one spends time digging around trying to figure out what's going on. Meanwhile the answer is simple: you're not getting enough nutrients. And this is effecting everything. The worst part of this scenario is that you get more problems by digging around for solutions in the wrong place. Then you have to deal with those problems; and it's harder to identify because now you've covered up the original cause. So, the moral of this story: eat healthfully! |
