You know how you read about the importance of eating vegetables for health? Well, I had a first-hand experience with that, well, second-hand.
One day I went to visit a friend after not seeing her for a while. She looked different, younger. He skin had smoothed out and it had color. She's an older woman. Usually her wrinkles are very apparent and her skin looks ashen. I know, not too pleasant.
The difference was hugely noticeable. Well, she's started juicing. Every morning she'd have a brew of spinach, carrots, fruit, etc.
I was amazed at the difference, and also that she actually looked younger. I didn't think that was possible.
I know I sound like a commercial, but this really happened. It was "living" proof of the difference eating veggies makes. Not to mention the emotional impact eating healthfully makes, as i wrote in an earlier blog.
