As many of you may know, the movie Ender's Game, came out last fall. I didn't have a chance to see it then, but finally saw it on DVD. What a great movie!
Without going into detail and revealing too much of the movie, I'd just like to say that it has all the components of a satisfying science fiction film for me: great acting, awesome cinematography, and very surprisingly, a great story line. That last one seems is what most science fiction movies lack. Take for example Oblivion and Gravity. I went through all kinds of trouble to see these films only to be hugely disappointed. Oblivion had huge story problems. Gravity ...well, it was so shallow it really was not worth making, though, many would disagree.
Anyway, Ender's Game is by far the best of these films. You can watch it on Amazon or get the DVD.
