Every psychic gives a reading differently. Who they are as a person, their own background, knowledge . . . all determines how the proceed during session.
Generally, the "right" psychic and the "right" client find each other :-) In the end it's that connection that makes the reading successful.
The way I see it, when a person wants a psychic reading, they are seeking answers, and many times, relief from struggle. My main desire is to help them. In order for a client to be helped, they have to understand what I am telling them. It doesn't matter that I see things about them, if they don't get it, it will not help them, it will not shift their consciousness in any way. So, generally (though not always), my sessions proceed in a question and answer format. I see something in a client, I ask them to see if they see it, too. They have to stay with me with their own awareness of themselves. It's this awareness that in the course of the session achieves healing. And that is the goal: healing.
Once in a great while, I get a client who has seen a lot of psychics or who has read somewhere that a psychic is supposed to give them "detail," and if that psychic does not, he is not a good psychic. This is a situation where a person comes in to test the psychic, not get a healing. There's nothing to be gained in this.
The objective is healing.
It takes tremendous energy to see deeply into a person, and I do not want to spend that energy obtaining information that the client can just tell me. I am aiming for that which the client does not know, that which is keeping him stuck, unhappy, in suffering. It's that knowledge which will release him, heal him.
