A lot of times things are hard and there is nothing to do but do the hard thing.
Once in a while I get a client who wants to do something, expand an aspect of their life, expand a business maybe, and they're struggling. When they come to me they believe that I will find the cure, and suddenly things will become easy for them.
Many times, we are stalled out because of a deeper issue and once that issue is identified and addressed, there is energy to move on. But many times, there is no deeper issue; the thing you need to do is just a difficult thing to do.
In that situation, you can make things easier and more comfortable, but there is no way getting around the fact that it's a hard thing you have to do, and the easiest way to proceed is to start doing it--a little at a time. Doing it in small bits makes it easier. Figuring out some ancillary comforts around the project, will help.
Many times it's hard because there are skills one needs to learn, and now is the time to learn them. Sometimes it's a simple matter (though actually quite challenging in the doing of it), of learning discipline. In order to come into fuller self expression we always have to become more discipline, more focuse
In any case not every hard thing has a root cause in pathology. It's just one of the many things in life we have to do that's difficult and not so fun. So, get going, get stronger, and move toward your success and fulfillment; take the challenge and blossom into a magnificent, strong, expressive new you.
